Welcome to my little blog. I’m a German audio enthusiast, writer, and semi-professional photographer who’s been immersed in the world of high-fidelity sound – professionally, but mostly as enthusiast.

A Journey Through Sound

My fascination with portable audio began in 2009 when I joined the Head-Fi community. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a deep passion. I organized private events and helped set up the community area for Germany’s first headphone show, CanJam Europe, in 2013. Since then, I’ve written over 100 articles for sites like Headfonics and Headflux, with a focus on in-ear monitors and audio measurement techniques. Me and my friends maintained a large 711-coupler-based measurement database for IEMs, studied it, and taught ourselves to acquire a taste for neutral sound. This would ultimately lead to heavy sympathy towards the professional audio segment.

Capturing Moments

In 2013, I picked up photography to improve the visual quality of my reviews. Over time, this side interest grew into a second passion. My work has been featured by many brands, most prominently by Chord Electronics – featured on Forbes, What Hi-Fi or printed in large at any major audio show like Munich High-End. Private shots were exhibited at my university, and licensed via Getty Images.

Professional Endeavors

Over the years, I’ve worn multiple hats in the audio industry — reviewer, store manager, sales lead, or consultant. I helped grow the Headtek retail store from scratch into a well-regarded destination for audio enthusiasts. I’ve worked for Rhines Customs, KS Distribution, and most recently held a multi-faceted role at HEDD Audio.

While I’ve since moved into a new professional role outside the audio world, I’m staying close to the industry. During that transition, I helped establish a Chinese audio distribution that now represents several high-end brands — a project I continue to support in my spare time. Audio remains a deep personal passion, and I’m always excited to stay connected to the scene, whether through gear, sound design, or conversations with fellow enthusiasts.

About This Site

This blog is a personal project. It’s not meant to follow trends or drive clicks. Instead, it’s a space to document what I find interesting in audio — sometimes technical, sometimes exploratory, occasionally off-topic. If something here resonates with you or sparks your curiosity, I’m glad you found it.

Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to share thoughts, collaborate, or just say hello.
